Combat Evolved , Halo 2 , and Halo 3 The games of the main Halo trilogy were developed by Bungie , and are first-person shooters in which the player experiences most action from the protagonist’s perspective. Combat Evolved , released on November 15, Combat Evolved introduced many gameplay and plot themes common to the whole trilogy. Players battle various aliens on foot and in vehicles to complete objectives, while attempting to uncover the secrets of the eponymous Halo. One concept introduced in Halo: Combat Evolved, is limiting the number of weapons players could carry to two, forcing them to carefully select their preferred armament.

I have been working on a speedrun and I noticed something about luck manipulation in the vending machine. I was in fyrestone trying to luck manipulate a DA. It seems that if you exit from the game within 30 seconds of the loading screen first appearing then the game will not auto save.
Thanks a million. million to be exact. Evolve has shutdown as of November 11, The community now lives at On behalf of myself and the entire Evolve team, thanks for .

Is Destiny 2 good? After 40 hours, here’s what we think By Richard Scott-Jones Subscribe to PCGamesN on YouTube After three years of the original being one of the biggest and most-discussed games on the planet, Destiny 2 has few excuses to make the same mistakes twice. Curious to see what came next, I picked up the console version. Forty-two hours later – not all of which was active gameplay , it must be said – here’s what I think. Here’s everything we know about Destiny 2 so far.
Let’s start with the story.
This means that when Borderlands 2 is released — September 18th, in North America and September 21st, internationally — all copies of the PC version will utilize Steamworks features like multiplayer matchmaking, Steam Cloud support, Steam Achievements, auto-updating and more.
Can anyone explain how these CD key websites work? How can they possibly sell the game for 20 bucks? Does Steam have some sort of CD key programme where it sells keys to websites on the cheap, or what? While some cd-key sites do not always sell these keys, some do, and many if not all , do sell them at release, before anyone knows about the restrictions. One case happened with Skyrim – many people opted for the cheaper Russian keys, installed it on the day of release only to discover that they required a Russian IP address, not only to active the game like some other games , but from what I understand, to actually play the game too – every time they play it.
So what that means of course, is that some people may have ‘s of games in the Steam account – they then buy the Russian Skyrim and activate, and the game is useless without a Russian VPN. Because it’s now in their Steam library, they cannot buy the non-Russian version at any other store, as it will come up as them already owning it, so they are fucked.
Personally, I don’t give a shit if anyone buys from cdkey stores, it’s none of my business – I don’t myself, but I’ve bought ‘s of games from the US Steam store, and imported many PS3 games, so I obviously don’t have a problem with that. What I do have a problem with however, is the way these backyard cdkey salesmen go about their business, potentially fucking over customers, by not always telling customers upfront how they operate, and the risks involved. A lot of people were caught out with Skyrim.
And you see how it could happen here too – so many questions about Borderlands 2, but still cdkey stores are happy to sell it now, ask questions later, without a care for customers should they find it does have regional restrictions. It looks like it wont have a problem besides having a 2nd useless Russian copy of the game in your library – again no mention of this by cdkey stores , but it’s been up to the customers to discover that, via the potential misfortune of others who bought it first.
Another problem I have is with OzBargain listing these stores without any distinction between unauthorized stores cdkey stores like g2play, cjs, the one above etc , and authorized stores who have to make deals with distributors to be able to sell the games GreenManGaming, Steam, GetGames etc.

Gameplay[ edit ] Gameplay from within a foot Titan, with full heads-up display Titanfall is a shooter game played from a first-person perspective. Players fight as free-running foot soldier “pilots” who can command agile, mech -style exoskeletons—”Titans”—to complete team-based objectives. Killing other players reduces the amount of time remaining. The latter locks onto multiple targets before firing multiple shots in a burst.
Players generally require three Smart Pistol shots to die.
i have an HD and i7 k @ GHz, and i’ve heard that in Borderlands 2 you can edit the config file (change the PhysX level value to 0, 1 or 2) to make the CPU do the PhysX work. i’ve also.
Best Stealth Games Best Strategy Games Let’s get one important fact out of the way before we dive into the deep end of the pool: This is not a historical examination of the most groundbreaking PC games. Sure, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain redefines stealth-based action and Forza Horizon 3 is the definitive open-world racer, but they didn’t make it into this guide based purely on those metrics.
Simply put, this an ever-expanding collection of all-around excellent titles you should buy if you own a gaming desktop or laptop. To clarify, games don’t need to have been released in or even to qualify for this roundup. Any game that’s still available and still considered excellent when ranked against the best of today is eligible. We think that’s the most useful approach to helping you decide which video games deserve space on your PC’s hard drive, and which aren’t worth consideration even when their prices are cut by 85 percent during a Steam sale.
Gaming the System Compiling this guide was no small undertaking. PCMag’s in-house and freelance editors have played a ridiculous number of PC games over the years, so creating inclusion criteria was essential. Here’s what we came up with. To be included, a game must have been reviewed by PCMag, still be available for purchase, and received a rating of 3.
The first requirement is to ensure that we can give you more insight into a game. Yes, this guide goes into some depth on each game entry, but the ability to link to a full review benefits those looking for a deeper cut.

If you are talking about console or PC, then PC. That is the only real system to play FPS on. If you don’t have either, all of the enemies will just stay at level 50, but if you have both, the enemies can scale up to level 80 and up. But really when it comes to UVHM, you just need to slag everything before you actually shoot an enemy with your regular weapon and also know which elemental weapons to use in each situation.
Like you can’t use a corrosive weapon on a flesh enemy or a fire weapon on an armored enemy. I’m just glad i mained Salvador who seems to just have it all. Gearbox should have really focused on Matchmaking if they were gonna make it that difficult. You need the most specific of builds and weapons to go against a raid boss. And you do realize that Salvador heavily relies on health gate, right? The point is here is that you just have to find good gear that will allow you to defend yourself and actually respec your character to work around your gear.
Just like any other RPG game that gets difficult.

Buy Borderlands 2 is a big game. And yet the sprawling cooperative shooter has arrived intact on the portable platform, delivering long hours of shooting, looting, and butt jokes. Game design changes, like knocking the maximum player count down from four to two and changing the enemy death animations, do a good job of cutting corners while preserving the core action. Technical shortcomings, however, leave little doubt that this is the lesser version of Gearbox’s great sequel.
Dialogue and sound effects frequently sound flat and occasionally disappear, while the frame rate often slows down in combat and makes the chaotic action feel unwieldy. Despite these limitations, Borderlands 2 on the Vita is still, very clearly, Borderlands 2. The world is colorful and diverse; the writing is witty and sometimes affecting; the loot is bountiful and rewarding; and the combat is entertaining and rowdy. Teaming up with another player and working your way through myriad quests on the path to increased skills, richer rewards, and Pandoran glory is great fun.
It’s just as easy to happily while away dozens of hours in this portable version as it is in its console and PC counterparts. This review will focus primarily on the Vita-specific strengths and limitations of Borderlands 2. To read a more in-depth analysis of the game in general, check out our original Borderlands 2 review. In any transition from console or PC to the Vita, there is a question of controls.

Oct 29, 4 This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The game looks amazing and the music is great. The plot is shallow, filled with characters that are generic, lifeless, and utterly devoid of any reason as to why you might care about them. The main baddy, Gaul, has no motivation for anything he does other than"he’s a bad guy”, no backstory, and no reason for doing anything he does. The NPC protagonists are lifeless, flat, 2-dimensional objects who serve no purpose except as narrative devices to further what can only generously be called a plot.
Kind of Big Brotherly in one respect, but sweet in another. Athena, Wilhelm the Enforcer, and Nisha the Lawbringer. I mean seriously, could the good folks over at 2K have offered a better early Christmas present? And right off the bat, no less! Players are given the usual opportunity to select their desired character based on both the quick animation sets that the series has become so famous for, and an unfortunately slim set of profile traits making up each of the possible protagonists. And in this respect, the Pre-Sequel!
Perhaps the best way to illustrate my concerns would be to say that the feel of the game, while certainly one of a quality and entertaining mold, is a bit closer to a stand-alone expansion of the previous iterations of the series than a brand new, wholly independent game. I could be alone in this, and in some sense I almost hope I am, given how much I enjoyed the rest of the components of the game, but it almost feels as though the Pre-Sequel was willing to sacrifice the initial story development for the speed of just getting into it all.
